About the Process
Nazarene Bible College is an educational institution of the Church of the Nazarene. Its role is guided by the denomination through its official representatives, while the college is directly governed by its Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees of Nazarene Bible College consists of the president of the college, three trustees from each educational field of the USA/Canada Church of the Nazarene (one district superintendent, one ordained elder who is an active and assigned pastor, one layperson), the Canada National Director for the Church of the Nazarene, and eight additional at-large members. The president will appoint the at-large members (upon approval by the balance of the Board of Trustees), including a tenured ordained evangelist, an ordained military chaplain, a member of Native American ethnicity, a member of Hispanic or Latin ethnicity, a member of African-American ethnicity, and three additional at-large members. All persons considered for election to the Board of trustees shall be approved by the Board of General Superintendents.
