The Online Orientation Experience

About every seven weeks, with neurons pumping and craniums expanding, students start Online Orientation. In the Online and Information Technology Departments, invigorated staff expectantly ramp up for the new students. It’s an exciting time of preparation to support eager minds beginning their Nazarene Bible College journey.

Online Orientation is a two week, fast-paced leap into NBC’s rich education environment, helping to ensure a seamless start to classes. Once complete, students will be pros at understanding how materials will be presented, how to actively participate, and how to get more information if needed.

Students in Online Orientation are on campus and in online distance learning. Advisers are there to help with any questions - they are knowledgeable and happy to assist. The program is directed by Dr. David Phillips, Vice President for Online Education and Associate Academic Dean, who sets the pace with expertise and compassionate leadership.

Overall, the Online programs at NBC are fun and are incredible learning experiences. Graduates leave NBC well-prepared for their calling in the Lord’s service. With degrees offered in Ministry, Christian Counseling, Ordination, Music Ministry, Christian School Education, and others, there is a program for almost anyone interested in serving the Lord.
