Stepping Stone to Nazarene Bible College Graduation

Graduate Exit Interviews are a major step on the exciting path to commencement. It allows seniors the opportunity to cover important topics with faculty and senior staff to help prepare for life after school. This is one of a series of events for seniors, including seminars and other informational sessions, which lead to Student Graduation in May.

NBC campus and online education does not end with final exams. Exit Interviews are important, too, and are also sometimes poignant. During her interview, one graduating single mother said that before NBC she was ensnared in overwhelming struggles, without hope. Through completing her degree, she has gained faith and life for her and her children, and is looking forward to being a role model as a pastor. Another, working as a construction foreman, said he will be serving God by doing "pastoral ministry in a construction trailer."

No matter what the calling, graduates' ongoing success is as important at NBC as providing a first-class accredited degree. Alumni success can be in traditional ministry, marketplace ministry, missions, Christian counseling, music ministry, or many other fields. Whatever it is, we are grateful to be able to provide a solid foundation in Christ.

After the Exit Interview, graduates have their eyes fixed on commencement. This year, the graduating class is substantial, about 115 seniors. To accommodate everyone, it will be held at Springs First Church. In typical fashion, even commencement itself features multiple, wonderful activities, many featuring tasty food. More information is available on the Nazarene Bible College Commencement Weekend Schedule.

NBC's commitment to education doesn't end after graduation, either. For example, NBC is proud to work with other institutions that are offering graduate degrees. Currently, Olivet Nazarene University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and Wesley College are working on implementing graduate degrees using NBC's dCourseWeb. With an undergraduate degree almost in hand, and NBC's partnership with other Christian colleges and universities for the future, our seniors' excitement is understandable.
