The student must select one of the following concentrations to complete the 64 hours required for an Associate of Arts in Lay Ministries degree.

Christian Educational MinistriesThe A.A.L.M. degree with a concentration in Christian Educational Ministries is a two-year program designed to prepare the graduate for service as a lay minister in the area of Christian education, including such roles as Sunday school superintendent, director of Christian education, or minister of children or youth.

Church MinistriesThe Associate of Arts in Lay Ministries degree with a concentration in Church Ministries is a 64-semester-hour program designed to prepare the graduate for service as a lay minister in the area of church ministries, including such roles as minister of visitation or evangelism minister.

Early Education MinistriesThe A.A.L.M degree with a concentration in Early Education Ministries prepares persons for work with young children (birth to 5 years) within the church and/or preschool ministries. This program is designed to enable students to meet the Preschool Associates Credential (PAC) requirements of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

Women's StudiesThe A.A.L.M. degree with a concentration in Women's Studies is a 64-semester-hour program designed to prepare the graduate for service as a lay minister in a local church for positions such as director of women's ministries.
