Requirements

Various individuals and groups have established scholarships at NBC. Scholarship applications may be obtained from the financial aid office and must be submitted no later than April 15 of each school year. A scholarship committee reviews the applications and makes awards for the next school year based upon the following criteria: (1) completion of a minimum of 12 NBC hours; (2) a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; (3) enrolled for at least 6 hours at time of application deadline. The student must maintain enrollment at least three-quarter time to remain eligible for disbursements during the award year. Withdrawal from courses may result in loss of scholarship funds. Awards are announced in May and are credited to student accounts at the beginning of each trimester of the following school year.

Application

Priority for institutional aid is given to full-time students with a 3.0 or better GPA. Student must have completed at least 12 hours of course work at NBC to qualify for institutional scholarships. Scholarship applications must be received by April 15 for consideration of scholarship awards for the following academic year.
