Nazarene Bible College (NBC) offers the Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree with two distinct programs online. The traditional college program offers three majors: Bible and Theology, Pastoral Ministries, and Christian Education. The accelerated degree completion program offers three majors: Leadership and Ethics, Christian School Education, and Counseling for Christian Ministries.

NBC has an open enrollment policy, and individuals can begin classes year-round. (There is a three-week break over the Christmas holidays and a two-week break before the summer session.)

There are no campus requirements, as all online courses are considered to be classes in residence—complete your entire degree online!

NBC accepts the transfer of credits from properly accredited institutions. For specific information on the transfer of credits, see the college Catalog. We will be happy to evaluate previous college transcripts to give a clear picture of what courses will transfer.

Start your college degree program now!

Students with no previous college experience will generally take four to six years to complete a degree. However, it is possible to graduate in just over three years by taking two classes in each session (full-time student). The regular degree program requires 128 semester hours.

Tuition and Fees. The tuition cost per hour of credit is $265. Courses are generally three credit hours, so the tuition cost for a class is $750. There is also a $50 per course technology fee. The total cost in 2006-2007 for courses is $800, plus books (average book cost per course is $75). There are financial aid options.

Accelerated Degree
Completion Program

Complete your degree in as little as two years!

Don't let time run out on your degree completion. With NBC's Advantage Program, you can get back to school and earn your degree. Students who qualify for the Advantage Degree Completion Program may graduate in as little as two years. This program requires 120 semester hours to earn your bachelor's degree.

Tuition and Fees. The tuition cost per hour of credit is $275. Courses are generally four credit hours, so the tuition cost for a class is $1,100. There is also a $65 per course technology and Degree Completion Program fee. The total cost in 2006-2007 per course is $1,165 plus books (average book cost per course is $75).
