Leadership and Ethics
Overview
The B.A. Min. with a Leadership and Ethics major is designed for adults who desire to complete a ministry focused degree for personal growth, increased training, and/or advancement in their workplace or volunteer setting. Emphasis is given to issues related to the business, parachurch, or volunteer setting, equipping the graduate with the tools necessary to navigate today's complex work environment.
Objectives
Students who complete the Leadership and Ethics major will:
- Know the disciplines that facilitate living a purposeful life.
- Develop a commitment to spiritual maturation.
- Exhibit skills required to mentor themselves and others effectively.
- Formulate strategies which enable others to achieve their potential.
- Exhibit situational awareness and leadership.
- Lead improvement activities in an organizational setting.
- Understand authority from a Christian perspective.
- Model the use of appropriate enquiry.
- Distinguish between acceptable and best practices in ethical dilemmas.
