NAZ Family Music Day Camp

The Music Ministries Department of Nazarene Bible College is pleased to serve our community and campus by hosting the annual Family Music Day Camp. Youth and adults are invited to be part of our Family Band and Piano Music Day Camp that is held on the campus of Nazarene Bible College during one week every summer. Daily classes and rehearsals are offered in a variety of musical settings including band for adults and students, piano, choir, beginning handbells, beginning guitar, ukulele, and music fundamentals. For one week, every participant will enjoy fellowship and music making in a beautiful college campus environment with outstanding and experienced instructors.

This Intergenerational Camp is a collaborative effort of Nazarene Bible College, Pikes Peak New Horizons Band (for adults 40+), and the Pikes Peak Home School Band, that is open to musicians of ages from 9 to 90. Public and private school students are encouraged to join with the home schooled and adult musicians for this week of musical activity. Separate group rehearsals are held daily for students who have had at least one year of instruction as well as for more advance middle and high school students. To conclude the camp, the more advanced students will join with the adult concert and jazz bands for a fantasic Grand Finale concert.
