Youth College
Overview
Nazarene Bible College offers an exquisite Music Preparatory School that provides vocal and instrumental private lessons for youth aged elementary through high school students. High school juniors and seniors are also eligible to receive college credit. Through these programs, children can be given an early start in the musical arts by gaining unique skills that will help them gain endless future benefits.
Youth Honors Choir
Youth Honors Choir is designed for high school level student's grades 9-12. A recommendation is needed from your Pastor, Youth Pastor, or high school choir director. Rehearsals are held one evening a week on the NBC campus in Oliver Hall. Through this outstanding program, college credit is available and offered to high school juniors and seniors. Credit and non-credit tuition fees are available. Scholarships are also available to those who qualify. Do not waste time or talent to become part of this new musical adventure. Become a part of something bigger than yourself; show the world what all you are capable of. Through our Youth Honors Choir, the world is your oyster.
Private Lessons
Private lessons are offered every trimester for vocal and instrumental skills for elementary through high school age youth during afternoons and early evenings. Qualified faculty members are available for training in; voice, piano lessons, orchestral strings, guitar, wind, and percussion. If you have would like to learn to play an instrument, or improve your talent, do not hesitate to contact us. We will work with you to make your dreams become reality.
Class and Ensemble Groups
Class and ensemble groups are offered concurrent with the participants' school semester system. Classes offered on NBC campus are; beginner class piano, beginner class in voice, campus and online music FUNdamentals (music theory). Small ensembles include; youth choir, hand bell choir, piano ensembles, youth wind ensembles. Scholarships are also available to those who qualify. Together, you can create bonds with your peers by joining your musical talents. NBC's talented music department staff strive and succeed in making these fantastic groups harmonious.
