Williamson Golf Sponsors Generate Scholarships

40th Annual G. B. Williamson Golf Tournament

The G. B. Williamson Golf Tournament annually generates scholarship funds equivalent to a full year's scholarship for a student at Nazarene Bible College.This year, the 40th, would be an excellent time for friends and alumni of NBC to see if we could double that! This annual event usually tops the list as the source of scholarship funds for NBC students preparing for ministry.

The 40th annual Nazarene Bible College G. B. Williamson Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2017 at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The tournament will again be hosted by NBC on the beautiful Eisenhower Golf Course at the USAFA, and will begin at 8:00 AM on the Blue Course.

Dr. Gary Haines is retiring this year as Tournament Director, and in anticipation of a large response due to the 40th milestone, he is praying and planning for the maximum of 144 golfers for the August event. He also noted that this will be a great year to be a tournament sponsor. Each year the tournament raises an average of $15,000 for matching scholarships awarded to NBC ministry students.
