National Day of Prayer

Nazarene Bible College is privileged to host and serve our community as a prayer site for National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 5. There will be four different opportunities for people to pray throughout the day. All are open to students, staff, and the community. They are:

  1. Sunrise Prayer in Apostles Court from 5:45 to 6:15 am will be a student led event. JC Nells will open our prayer time with music and songs. Be ready to read or recite a favorite Bible verse as we "pray scripture" for part of our prayer time. There will be a free continental breakfast after the prayer time.
    Please contact Tom Bolinger if you can help with the continental breakfast.
  2. Morning Prayer in Strickland Chapel from 6:30 to 7:30 am will be facilitated by Mrs. Janine King. "Solemn Assembly" – this prayer time will begin and end with piano and violin music in praise to God.
  3. Noon Prayer in Strickland Chapel from 12:30 to 1:30 pm will be facilitated by Rev. Cindy Lamb."Sweet Hour of Prayer" - This prayer time will include guided prayer and small group prayer.
  4. Evening Prayer in Strickland Chapel from 6:30 to 7:30 pm will be facilitated by Rev. Keith Morgan of True Life Community Church. "Crying Out to God" - This prayer time will include corporate prayer and group prayer.

Please note: Due to National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 5, NBC will not have the 9:30 am Family Chapel on Wednesday, May 4.
