Pinching Pennies
As the New Year has finally arrived and all the staff is in full force, we begin to set goals and make it a point to cut costs whenever possible. Frequently we evaluate our existing vendors and the services they provide to find the best way possible to save the college money. For example, this week we made a deal with a long-term vendor that saved the college 50% over a three-year period. It may take a bit of finagling to make a deal like this but the $6000 saved certainly makes it worth the effort.
After all, any money we can save NBC will help keep our students' tuition costs as low as possible. We know that they are making sacrifices in their lives to prepare for and follow God’s call to service. So, it is our responsibility to do all we can to lessen their burden, while at the same time, doing our part to keep the beautiful and successful Christian college running like a well-oiled machine.
