NBC Now Offers Ministerial Education Program in Spanish

.

Nazarene Bible College is pleased to announce the launch of a ministerial education program in Spanish.

Classes will be held online using the NBC dCourse Web system. The program's first class begins August 27.

Timothy McKeithen will direct the program. He brings a wide variety of experiences to the role, having ministered in 33 countries and 45 states and spent 24 years living outside of the U.S., including Spain, Argentina, and Chile.

The NBC Spanish program will enable individuals to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with a major in pastoral ministries. All classes will be taught in Spanish by Hispanic educators. Classes will be six weeks in length and will begin approximately every seven weeks. Students from the Church of the Nazarene’s ENTE program (Specialized Nazarene Theological Education) will be able to complete the B.A.Min. through this program. Additionally, students who studied at district training centers and those with no college education are encouraged to apply.

Application forms and information on the program can be found at www.nbc.edu/es. For further information, interested students or district leaders may contact McKeithen at (800) 873-3873, ext. 5154 or email him at hispanos@nbc.edu.

McKeithen, and his wife, Susan, served as missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene from 2001-2011. During those years, they served on the South America Region in Argentina and Chile in a number of positions. Additionally, the McKeithens were part of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra from 1984-1989 and the Symphony Orchestra of the Liceu in Barcelona, Spain from 1989-1998. During his years of missionary service, McKeithen taught online courses for Seminario Nazareno Virtual and on-site courses for Seminario Biblico Nazareno, Santiago, and other courses in Chile and Argentina.
