NBC Confers 81 Degrees and Certificates

May 27th was Graduation Sunday for eighty-one members of Nazarene Bible College’s Class of 2018.

Sixty-nine of those graduates received a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree (B.A. Min). An Associate of Arts degree in Ministry (A.A. Min) was received by one graduate. Eleven others received Ministry Preparation Program Certificates (M.P.P.). All three of these degrees and certificate indicate a fulfilling of the educational requirements for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene.

For the past ten years, Nazarene Bible College has enjoyed a close partnership with The Salvation Army. Twelve Salvation Army officers graduated in this year’s class with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree with a major in Leadership and Ethics.

NBC President Harold Graves Jr. prayed for each graduate that they would keep a clear vision of their call and that God would grant them strength to fulfill the ministry assigned to them. Dr. Graves encouraged them by giving them this charge: Go forth now as God’s servant. Remember God’s presence often, and draw strength from the knowledge that the One who calls and sends also sustains.”
