When taking the class “History and Polity of the Church of the Nazarene” taught by Rev. David G. Woods, I had no idea what to expect. I thought it would be boring. However, my eyes were opened to the rich history of the Nazarene church. I felt both humbled and proud. The support for women in ministry blows me away. As the current Women’s Ministry Leader for Celebrate Recovery at Southside Church and the Saturday night Venue Ministry Leader, it is important to me to have the support of the church and other leaders. This class helped me to find my place and voice in Christian Ministry. I love my classes at NBC. I’m 60 years old and this has been one of the best experiences of my life!  It is never too late to learn and be used of God!
