U.S. Constitution Day
Every year, Nazarene Bible College joins hundreds of other colleges in celebrating Constitution Day. The day set aside to memorialize this significant occasion is September 17th, and we did not want to miss the opportunity to share some interesting facts about the U.S. Constitution and this very important event in our nation's history.
Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution - September 17, 1787.
There are 4,440 words in the constitution.
There are 7 original articles.
There are 27 amendments - the last one ratified in 1992.
There are 39 delegate signatures (not everyone who attended the assembly chose to sign).
