Team In Action

Today will complete Enrollment Management’s first week of working from home!  THANKS TO ALL WHO ARE MAKING THAT POSSIBLE!! We want to especially thank Fred Phillips, David Herron, and Michael Cunningham for many hours of preparation and effort!

So far this school year, through week 35, we have accepted 428 “new” students.  This is an increase from this time one year ago!

We praise God for each of these students. As you know, the average age of our students is about 42.  Many of them need help with turning on their computer, learning to copy and paste, set grammar and spelling parameters, along with how to utilize dcourse web.   Fortunately, we have wonderful instructors and academic advisors that are empathetic and helpful.  This week, in New Student Orientation, one of those students called her academic advisor every day!  At the end of the week, the student expressed how grateful she was for help from Fred Phillips (her instructor) and Quinn North (her academic advisor).  They are fulfilling NBC’s mission!

I am attaching the Free Course offer that is available to all Local and District licensed ministers in the Church of the Nazarene. To be eligible, the individuals cannot be a current student or have received a free course previously from NBC. 

NBC faculty and staff are here to fulfill God’s call on their lives and specifically, to contribute to each student who comes to NBC.
