Staying the Course

While many colleges and universities are transitioning to an online-format, Nazarene Bible College continues to do what it has done successfully for 22 years. NBC offers classes online led by full-time and adjunct professors experienced in online teaching.  As concerns about the novel coronavirus are felt at the local and global level, the college knows NBC alumni and current students are on the front line of ministry as pastors, chaplains, and ministry leaders attending to the needs of their churches and communities. They have an unprecedented opportunity to respond in compassion with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a fearful world.

As an institution with its primary mission to educate students for service and leadership in our diverse world, NBC continues, stronger than ever, with this purpose and mission at the forefront of every class delivered. It remains committed to its mission of glorifying Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world. Our prayers are with our students, teachers, and staff - and with the congregations they serve - as they navigate through these unchartered waters.

Like Esther in the Holy Bible, NBC has been prepared for a time such as this. We acknowledge NBC’s commission from the Lord 53 years ago to prepare adults for ministry, and we rely on Him to continue to direct our path, as we continue to equip students for effective Christian ministry today as Spring classes are currently taught through NBC Online programs.
