NBC Commencement Date Cancelled 2020
NBC Commencement Date Cancelled 2020

Staying Up to Date

The unpredictable conditions we are facing, especially not knowing whether large gatherings will be permitted later in the spring, have led the college to conclude that it is in the best interest of all involved to cancel the upcoming Commencement service set for May 24, 2020. Students who have applied for graduation are being contacted by the Registrar regarding diploma distribution and options available for already ordered regalia.

President Graves and the rest of the Cabinet are discussing possible alternatives so that NBC’s 2020 graduates can celebrate their accomplishments with their classmates, faculty, friends, and family. The college will make an announcement on April 15. Keep reading the Communicator and checking the NBC website for updates.

Commencement is an exciting celebration of students’ achievements, so this cancellation has been a disappointment to many. The college believes this action is good stewardship of the health and other resources given to each of us by the One we serve. We pray your learning and ministry continue through this uncertain time.
