We Noticed Your Yes
While 20/20 commonly refers to “perfect vision,” no one foresaw that 2020 would be “closed” due to COVID-19. Despite the closures, the author of Hebrews reminds us that what we do for Christ never goes unnoticed:
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart" (Hebrews 12: 1-3, NIV).
You had a choice to respond to God’s call to ministry. We noticed your “Yes!”
You had a choice to prepare for that call. We noticed your “Yes!”
You had a multitude of choices and made countless sacrifices to persist in your course of study. We noticed your “Yes-es!”
Today, we join your “great cloud of witnesses” to CELEBRATE your graduation and ANTICIPATE great things for you as you run this race with God! He notices your “Yes” to Him!
