A Letter Especially for NBC Students

Winter A classes begin on November 9 – only 2 weeks away...
If you are a new or continuing student, it is important for you to process your
- Recommended and Verification Schedule emails as soon as you receive them from your Advisor. This helps us make certain we are providing enough classes/professors for the next Orientation or Winter A Session.
If you are scheduled but will not be taking a class in the upcoming session, please let your Advisor know today.
New degree students, if you will be using Financial Aid and haven’t done so, please go to your Financial Aid Portal and accept or decline your package today.
Financial Aid students, please look for a book voucher confirmation email from your Advisor. The book voucher represents an opportunity to purchase your books for the entire upcoming term and charge the amount to your next financial aid (grant and/or student loan) disbursement. Given COVID-19, book shipments will most certainly take longer. Please order at least 3 weeks before your first class begins.
If you are approved for a book voucher, simply go to your homepage at https://online.nbc.edu and click on the Book List link to order your books for both A and B Sessions. When you proceed to Checkout, your voucher will be available as a payment option. For more information, please contact an Academic Advisor.
If you are paying out of pocket, payment for Winter A is due November 2. Be sure to change the term on your NBC Portal to “Winter 2020” to be able to see your correct invoice.
