Admit You Need Help From Others

June is NBC’s Substance Abuse Awareness Month

Substance abuse and addiction is a terrible problem for many people, and you may have already encountered this struggle in your personal life or ministry. But there is hope! God does rescue people, and he often works through the willing hands of His children to do it.

The Good News

Substance abuse can ruin lives in any area at any age, but the gospel still is good news! Take a look at how Reconciliation Ministries in Columbia, South Carolina is bringing hope to their community. https://nazarene.org/article/nazarenes-news-january-2021

What is the NBC Policy?

NBC is required by law to notify all students, faculty, and staff of alcohol and other drug policies. You can access the policy here: https://www.nbc.edu/core/assets/files/Drug_Free_Workplace_Policy.pdf.

We Would Love to Hear From You!

Are you working in such a ministry? We’d love to hear your story!

SafeColleges Training is Available

The SafeColleges Training System offers several courses on substance abuse awareness. The Reasonable Suspicion track is a great starting point, with further training available on Drug Free Workplaces, Prescription Drug Abuse, and Student Drug and Alcohol Abuse.
