Application
Every prospective student needs to complete and submit an application. Applicants may (a) request an application packet be mailed to them; or (b) print an application from our web site, fill in the information, and mail it to NBC; or (c) complete the electronic application, and submit it over the Internet.
Essay
All applicants will submit a written essay of 750-1,000 words telling of their Christian experience and the reasons for applying to Nazarene Bible College. The applicant may include in this essay his/her educational goals and information on his/her conversion, home background, and church experiences.
Transcripts
Applicants need to submit an official high school transcript or official transcripts of studies undertaken at all colleges or universities. (If college work has been taken, college transcripts must be submitted.) It is the applicant's responsibility to see that these are mailed directly to Nazarene Bible College by the issuing school. Applicants who have not graduated from high school must successfully complete the General Educational Development (GED) exam before admission.
Recommendations
Applicants will submit two recommendation forms. One must be from the applicant's pastor or someone who is knowledgeable about the applicant's church involvement; the other may be from a friend, teacher, or employer. Neither recommendation should come from a relative of the applicant. An applicant who is ordained by the Church of the Nazarene or holds a district license in the Church of the Nazarene must obtain a recommendation from his/her district superintendent.
